Surface pressure decreases as a frontal boundary nears from the north. Showers develop even ahead of a shallow low center transiting overhead on Wednesday with widespread rain and showers, a risk of thunder and moderate to strong winds. Otherwise, mainly moderate south-westerlies to westerlies sharply veer northeast by Thursday, when conditions improve. Smooth to slight seas build slight to moderate tonight.
