A breezy and mostly dry Monday

Weak low pressure continues to move further away to the northeast but isolated to occasionally scattered showers are driven towards the island. Moderate to strong winds will remain as high pressure builds in from the west with mostly fair weather. Seas build rough today but diminish moderate by mid-week.

High near 27°C/80°F.

It’s still muggy with the humidity holding at a generous 90%, but hopefully this will fall with this brisk north breeze coming at us today.

 Bright and breezy Sunday.

Drier conditions are now developing as that weak low pressure moves away towards the north of the island. It will remain quite breezy into the new week.  Here’s the good news –  Our high humidity will begin to fall starting tomorrow as winds set into the north.

Good kite wind – Winds westerly 16 to 22 knots, easing 12 to 18 knots for a time

Seas are kicking up a bit, in fact, a Small Craft Warning has been posted from today through tomorrow.  Waves inside the reef 1 to 3 ft… Outside the reef 5 to 8 ft.

Get out there early!   A dry start to the morning, showers and rain to return later.

An area of low pressure continues to approaches from the south-southwest. Expect patchy rain and isolated to scattered showers to continue through today.  Less frequent rainfall is expected over the weekend as the low meanders nearby. Mainly slight seas build moderate this weekend.

Some sunshine to begin the day, increasing cloudiness later.

A weak ridge of high pressure will briefly shift over the area and settle conditions today. Another low advances from the southwest later today causing a return of occasionally unsettled weather along with light to moderate southerly to southeasterly winds. Slight to moderate seas build moderate by Friday.

Humidity 88%… better than 98% I suppose.

A cloudy start with one or two lingering showers

A low pressure system begins to exit to the southwest with lingering isolated to scattered showers this morning. Some improvement is expected this afternoon into early tomorrow before a second low advances from the southwest on Wednesday and keeps the potential for occasionally unsettled weather for the rest of the week.

High near 27°C/80°F.
Humidity 95%…  Uhuh

Winds east-southeasterly 12 to 18 knots, occasionally increasing 16 to 22 knots, and soon veering southeasterly, then southwesterly 10 to 15 knots by midday.

Seas inside the reef 1 to 3 ft… Outside the reef 5 to 8 ft, decreasing during the evening

A mostly fine day ahead despite an early shower…

High pressure entering our scene from the east, allows a return to mainly fair weather for the weekend. Moderate southeast winds gradually back east, increasing near strong at times. Conditions then deteriorate again on Monday as a weak low passes by the area. Slight to moderate seas build moderate later this weekend.

Humidity keeps climbing – 93%

Winds east-southeasterly 12 to 18 knots, possibly increasing 16 to 22 knots for a time during the morning, and backing easterly during the day.

An early shower or two clears leaving mostly fine weather.

Dry and fair weather moves in for the next few days. A high pressure starts to build from the west with slightly cooler and less humid air being pushed across the area. Light and sometimes variable winds increase during the day while slight to moderate seas remain.

Humidity presently 94% but that will be gin to drop down.

Winds northwesterly 5 to 10 knots, veering north-northwesterly 8 to 12 knots by afternoon and increasing slightly by evening.

Here comes Mr. Blue Sky

A frontal system brings slightly northerly winds making it cooler and less humid  for the next couple of days. Conditions then deteriorate once again towards the end of the week as the next front approaches from the west with isolated to scattered showers.

Winds north-northeasterly 12 to 18 knots, veering northeasterly by evening and easing slightly..

Remaining cloudy this morning as areas of wet weather move in.

A slow-moving frontal boundary will move scattered showers, rain, and embedded thunderstorm activity across the area before gradually clearing south by tonight. A return to mainly fair weather is expected through midweek, before conditions deteriorate once again into the weekend. Light winds will veer towards the northeast through midweek and increase moderate, while seas build slight to moderate.

Rain, lightening, thunder and everything!

A frontal boundary nears the area bringing isolated to scattered showers and patchy rain through Tuesday. Conditions will settle into the midweek with the return of mostly fair weather. Smooth to slight seas begin to increase slight to moderate overnight while winds gradually increase.

High near 26°C/79°F….  Well look at that!  We’ve broken into the 70s.
Humidity shooting back up – 91%

 Winds easterly 5 to 8 knots, veering southerly 10 to 15 knots towards the evening.

Seas remain calm – Seas inside the reef calm to 1 ft… Outside the reef 2 to 3 ft.
