A broad frontal boundary continues to hover near our area. It remains cloudy to overcast as occasional rain and showers soon develop and persist through most of today with the chance of a few rumbles of thunder. Humid conditions with near-average temperatures will linger before the boundary moves away to the east.  Cloudy,periods of rain/showers & chance of thunder ease later.

Showers this morning but slowly getting brighter.

Moderate to strong winds continue to ease and passing showers soon cease as low pressure continues its exit to the northeast. High pressure then builds in from the west later today, with drier and sunnier weather through the weekend. Temperatures begin to rise today and become milder through the weekend. Enjoy this slight break in the wind (grrrrrrr) as moderate to strong winds return tomorrow as another low slowly approaches the region.

Another rapidly deepening low will sweep a cold front across us later today with patchy rain and scattered showers. Moderate winds soon increase strong before gales develop tonight into Sunday. After a brief reprieve Sunday night into Monday, another low then keeps the threat of unsettled weather into the new week. Rough seas rapidly build very to high later today. Isolated showers becoming scattered showers and patchy rain with the chance of thunder and fair to very poor visibility.

GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FOR TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON:Winds southwesterly 10 to 15 knots, rapidly increasing 20 to 30 knots during the morning, with gusts to 45 knots from afternoon, veering westerly towards evening.

Small Craft Warning remains in effect:Seas inside the reef 2 to 4 ft… Outside the reef 9 to 14 ft, increasing during the evening

Small Craft Warning (Valid for  tonight through Wednesday night)
Windy conditions continue today as a low pressure develops to the northwest. Winds strengthen further and a period of gales develops later this afternoon into Wednesday as the low drags a cold front across the area. Wet weather follows into the night, before the front exits and leaves blustery showers for the end of the week.



High near 20°C/68°F

Humidity a beautiful 62%


Winds west-northwesterly 18 to 24 knots, backing westerly by midday, increasing 20 to 30 knots in the afternoon, then west-southwesterly 30 to 40 knots by evening with gusts to 50 to 60 knots

Windy conditions remain in the front`s wake for the moment before a ridge of high pressure creeps in from the northwest. Skies brighten as the ridge drifts towards us today and tomorrow, gradually easing winds and cooling temperatures. Another frontal system is poised to move in from the west on Friday increasing cloud cover and winds ahead of it and giving rise to the potential for a few showers.
