A windy start to the week as the low continues to approach.
A rapidly developing low pressure will approach the area from the southwest today bringing periods of wet weather, possible thunderstorms, and increasing winds strong to Gale Force winds with Storm to Hurricane Force gusts. Patchy rain and isolated to scattered showers with fair to poor visibility becoming scattered to widespread from afternoon with isolated thunderstorms and fair to very poor visibility.Blustery showers and strong winds linger into Tuesday before the low moves away to the northeast. High pressure will return through midweek easing winds. Seas build rough to very rough over the coming days.

Winds southeasterly 20 to 28 knots, veering southerly and increasing 25 to 35 knots with 40 to 50 knots gusts from mid-to-late morning, and gusting 50 to 65 knots during the afternoon, veering westerly 20 to 30 knots by evening.

Small Craft Warning remains in effect:   Seas increasing, inside the reef 2 to 4 ft… Outside the reef 7 to 14 ft.
