A warm and humid flow continues…

After a brief reprieve in shower activity, an area of rainfall has formed to our southwest and is expected to migrate through our area. However, ridging builds in from the southeast later today into Thursday, giving the greatest chance of drier and brighter conditions. The ridge retreats on Friday allowing inclement weather to move back over us into the start of the weekend.

A moderate southwesterly flow will usher in clusters of showers and isolated thunderstorms throughout most of this week. Slight seas build to become moderate later in the week as winds occasionally become strong.

Unsettled start to the weekend. Improving later today

Considerable cloud, rain and showers continue to move across the Island this morning in advance of an approaching cold front. Winds will be strong and gusty at times too. This afternoon then sees a gradual transition to much more settled weather as the front clears southeast to leave drier and brighter conditions behind.

A frontal system to the northwest will press closer to us with rain and showers, some heavy, along with strong and gusty wind, particularly tonight into early tomorrow morning. The front will then clear the Island with much drier and settled weather to follow by tomorrow afternoon through Sunday.

Breezy! With a few showers developing in the afternoon

Developing low pressure will produce thickening cloud cover with showers around today, though heavier showers and stronger winds with rough seas are more likely on Friday into Saturday morning. High pressure will then take over with drier weather and easing wind from Saturday afternoon through Sunday.

High pressure begins to build in from the north and west. The area will become drier and less humid through mid-week. Unsettled weather returns towards the latter part of the week while seas tend to build.

A complex low pressure system approaches from the southwest this morning. Cloudy skies, wet weather and gusty winds return today as the low slides over the area. Weak ridging then builds into the area later on Tuesday with drier weather through midweek.

A brief reprieve today into tonight, as low pressure finally slides out of our area. This will bring drier weather today with some sunshine though cloud cover will linger early. Another low and a front moves through on Monday bringing a return of cloudy and wet weather before weak ridging builds into our area later on Tuesday with drier weather through midweek.
