A series of troughs will move through the area this week bringing isolated to scattered showers interspersed with bright and fair conditions. A moderate to strong southwest wind ushers in warmer than average temperatures through mid week before cooling off by Thursday. Rough seas are expected to remain for most of the week. .

A cloudy morning with developing rain/showers

Isolated to scattered showers and patchy rain will develop as a front approaches from the west with thickening cloud. This week will consist of a series of fronts and troughs, occasional showery weather, and strong southwest winds which may gust gale force at times. Yet, in between these fronts, clouds will thin to give sunny breaks. Seas become rough this morning and remain so for the week.

Winds south-southwesterly 20 to 30 knots gusts to 40 knots, especially in developing showers, veering and easing southwesterly 12 to 18 knots by evening.
