A few sunny breaks- more wind coming
High pressure will result in mainly fair skies through today and into the weekend. However, a low to our west will cause winds to strengthen becoming strong tonight with moderate seas increasing moderate to rough in response. It will stay windy into next week as further lows move north-eastwards along the US eastern seaboard. On Sunday night, a trailing front will bring rain and showers before clearing eastwards on Monday.

The deepening low to our north-northeast will move away northeastward today and the associated cold front, now to our southeast, will move away southeast. A weak secondary trough may bring a few showers this morning. Strong winds ease to moderate this evening, light tomorrow, then become strong again Friday night through Sunday.

Windy, a brief sprinkle then winds ease this afternoon.
Deep low pressure to the northeast works in unison with high pressure to the northwest thus driving strong winds with gale force gusts and building seas this morning, then tapering off by this afternoon. Conditions mildly settle from Friday through the weekend under weak high pressure and abating seas, yet isolated brief showers can’t be entirely ruled out. A complex low pressure system approaches Sunday night bringing wet and windy weather to the Island.

For the moment It’s just perfect out there !
Light to moderate winds will increase moderate to strong this afternoon as a weak frontal trough moves through the area. Moderate to rough long period seas will abate slight to moderate this evening. Fair to fine conditions are expected for much of Sunday as high pressure extends over Bermuda. Conditions become more unsettled on Monday as a cold front moves into the area. Rain and showers with a chance of thunder are possible Monday night as the leading edge of the front enters the area.
