EASING WINDS

Mainly fair with moderate winds and rough seas gradually easing while Tropical Storm Leslie clears towards our distant northeast. Pressure steadily recovers through the forecast period causing winds to ease mainly light for the weekend. Settling tomorrow with seas falling moderate and eventually slight to moderate early next week.

Tropical Storm Leslie continues to linger in the distant east with high pressure ridging to our west, resulting in strong northeasterly winds today. Large long period easterly swell will continue over the next 3 days as Leslie remains to our distant northeast. Highest swell is expected to occur in the northern and eastern marine quadrants due to more exposure to the primary source of swell

North-northeasterly winds increase today as Tropical Storm Leslie remains to the northeast of Bermuda. Northeasterly swell will gradually build today along with the increase in winds. This large northeasterly swell will remain long in period and will be highest in the northern and eastern marine areas due to most exposure.
