The promise of some decent rain continues…
A stationary front to our near south is expected to lift back overhead today and tomorrow. Expect isolated showers with a chance of thunderstorms developing in the area until Friday, when conditions improve. Light to moderate southerly winds soon settle southwest to increase and perhaps touch strong for a time this afternoon. Slight to moderate seas gradually abate smooth to slight for the weekend.

A frontal trough expected to cross the area today becomes slow moving to our near south/overhead for mid week. Showery and at times thundery conditions prevail today with moderate to strong winds and occasional gustiness. Showers become spotty with light to moderate winds this evening onward. Moderate seas begin to abate slight to moderate on Wednesday…. if it was anything like yesterday, it was much ado about nothing.

Winds southwesterly 18 to 24 knots, with stronger gusts near showers and thunderstorms, rapidly easing west-northwesterly 10 to 15 knots late afternoon…  Possible squall over the northern marine area this morning. Low pressure to our northwest will gradually move northeastward. The associated cold front will slowly drag through Bermuda on Tuesday. Expect developing showers today with a risk of thunder until the front clears Tuesday evening. Light to moderate winds this morning increase moderate to strong by this afternoon, easing again later Tuesday. Mainly fair weather and moderate winds are expected for Wednesday.

High pressure fades to the southeast while a weak warm front approaches from the southwest sending a few showers Friday night into early Saturday. Variable sunshine occurs with isolated showers thereafter on Sunday and Monday with moderate to strong southwest winds and building seas. A cold front will approach on Tuesday delivering showers and a chance of thunder.
