Sunny periods with winds gradually increasing from this afternoon.
A weak high pressure ensures fair conditions with light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas this morning. A broad low deepening over the US eastern seaboard drives a warm front near Bermuda tonight, bringing strong southerlies and rough seas for Wednesday. A cold front is then expected Wednesday evening with a band of showers, perhaps heavy and thundery, clearing east on Thursday when conditions become drier. Newly unsettling on Saturday.

Moderate breeze becoming light under patchy cloud cover today
High pressure builds from the northwest providing fine skies with winds becoming light today. The high then transits to our southeast and clouds begin to spread in from the west as another frontal system encroaches upon Bermuda. Wet and windy weather is expected mid-week with seas building rough to very rough.

How about a little wind with that sunshine !

Fine skies, but breezy this morning.
High pressure builds from the west forcing an expansive area of low pressure away to the east. Strong winds linger this morning but soon ease to moderate with fine skies through the day. A low advances on Bermuda from the west overnight drawing showers and strong winds to the region for Sunday. High pressure then re-builds providing fine skies through early next week. Very rough seas abate rough through the weekend.

Low pressure over the Canadian Maritimes drives near-gale west-southwesterly winds over the region. Isolated showers develop under this regime but move along quickly. Showers become more organized overnight as a trough sweeps across the region. High pressure then builds for Saturday providing fine skies and easing winds, but soon to follow is another low pressure system with showers for Sunday. Rough to very rough seas persist through Saturday.

Mainly strong winds persist until Saturday morning.


Low pressure now south of Nova Scotia will continue to deepen as it moves north into the Canadian Maritimes. This will maintain mainly strong winds into Saturday morning. Expect a few light showers now and then through Saturday. A new low pressure will rapidly develop to our northwest early Sunday driving a cold front through with showers and strong winds again Sunday. Rough to very rough seas will persist.

An area of low pressure will develop to our west-northwest this morning and begin to deepen rapidly as it moves to our north by this evening, driving a new frontal boundary through Bermuda with a few showers and bringing a return of mainly strong winds until Saturday morning. Expect mainly fair weather interspersed with a few light showers through Friday, turning fine for Saturday.

More rain with gales and thunder this morning, improving this afternoon.


A large, deepening low pressure system to our northwest will drive a cold front through Bermuda this morning with more showers and thunder and a period of gales. Fair conditions return with strong winds this afternoon. After a period of moderate winds Wednesday, mainly strong winds with a few showers and cooler weather will prevail through Saturday. Very rough to high seas today fall slightly from Wednesday onward.

Winds southwesterly 20 to 30 knots gusts to 40 knots, increasing 30 to 40 knots gusts 50 knots for a time this morning, becoming west-southwesterly 25 to 35 knots by midday

Becoming wet and windy with a chance of thunder.


High pressure exits east allowing an influx of moist air and increasing southwesterly winds. Rain, showers, and thunder will accompany a low pressure system to our west along with developing gales tonight into tomorrow. Conditions remain unsettled thereafter as cool, blustery winds with a few showers persist toward the latter part of the week. Seas become rough to very rough today and onward.

High pressure hangs on through today ensuring fair skies with a light to moderate breeze. However, a developing low pressure system to the southwest will begin to affect Bermuda tomorrow and into Tuesday with wet and windy conditions, along with a chance for thunder and a probable gale for a time late Monday into Tuesday morning. Moderate seas build rough to very rough this week.

A weak low pressure trough sends a shower or two early this morning, otherwise fair and breezy today as high pressure builds ensuring stable conditions through tomorrow. A complex low pressure system will develop to the southwest which is likely to deliver rain, showers, a chance of thunder and rather windy conditions early in the coming week. Rough seas abate moderate Sunday, then build rough again Monday.High near 18°C/65°F.
